Prototypes Volkswagen
In conjunction with the development of Volkswagen’s new E-Golf, Ljungby Komposit was commissioned to produce prototypes for the battery cover, in order to check the series version for high-volume production.
A typical development project where the advantages of vacuum injection can be used to keep costs at a reasonable level, while at the same time the prototypes are an accurate representation of the expected result from a series production.
These parts are currently in series production using SMC material at Polytec Composites Weiden, Germany.
